Step 1
Position the Basement
Window with "Top" and "In" oriented correctly. Each Basement Window
is clearly marked with positioning instructions to help ensure
proper onsite installation.
|

Step 2
Insert and sandwich the
Basement Window between the wall forms at the correct position
within the foundation wall. Our Basement Windows come in the most
commonly used depth sizes, which fit perfectly between the wall
forms.
|

Step 3
Fix and support (from
bottom) the Basement Window using two clamps a minimum of 16" apart
spanning the wall forms. Once the Basement Window is securely
fastened, begin pouring concrete within the wall forms.
|

Step 4
Our Basement Window has
numerous built-in chambers, which absorb concrete. This aids in the
Window’s sturdy and secure fit. Our Basement Window is
constructed out of solid vinyl, which eliminates the possibility of
any cracks or fractures to the Window's frame.
|

Step 5
Remove the wall forms and
when required, remove the Basement Window’s protective packaging
materials. Each Basement Window is packaged in 1¾" thick Styrofoam
and a highly durable cardboard. The packaging material keeps the
Window clean and free from debris.
|

Step 6
Trim remaining strapping
flush with concrete. This is how the Window should appear after
proper installation. If needed, the sash may be entirely removed to
allow access into the basement.
